It's Fall Crafting Time

Despite the fact that it is still ONLY August, it's time to stock up on your favorite fall arts and craft supplies! I have been browsing the stores and low and behold, I'm seeing some of the same products from last year. I've got you covered with some really cute projects you can put together NOW so that your ready for fun, fall seasonal decor.

Beginning with Hobby Lobby, these wooden patterned pumpkin picks (say that 3 times fast!) are out again, along with other pumpkin pick designs. They also had the small wood fall box frames I used to make my Pumpkin Triplet Door Hangers last year.

You can also grab one or two of these pumpkin stacks to create some multi-season decor. I wrote a whole blog post last year to share fall and winter possibilities for this unfinished wood piece. The video of the fall design is below.

Of course, they had some new items as well that got me thinking about this year's fall projects. I have some tattered pillows that could be brought to new life with a fall pillow cover.

Next up is Michael's Craft Store. Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed to see that they are still doing a skull theme for their Halloween decor. Does anyone remember this picture of me from last year?

Skulls just aren't my thing, but if you love the look, then Michael's is the place to go. I did find some other items that I definitely liked. I plan on making over some of my plain wood box frames, signs, pumpkins, and leaves with some cute ideas like these for a tiered tray.

Of course they had gnomes!

I will have to say that Target is coming in strong with tons of cute, already done for you fall designs. The Target Dollar Spot is literally one of my favorite places to find seasonal decor that's already done or perfect for DIY projects. I'm totally going to paint a pumpkin on the Pick Your Own Pumpkins sign.

This little cart was only $5! It doesn't roll, but it's the perfect size to display the tiered tray buckets I painted the other day! You can watch the LIVE here to see how I painted them. Here's a quick version to see how they were put together.

For the best deals & a DIY crafter's dream, Dollar Tree gets the highest marks, even if everything is now $1.25. Don't wait to stock up though! The seasonal items go quickly. I found some familiar items I used in last year's crafts.

Here's the Eek Wreath I made with all Dollar Tree items. The Boo would also look really cute on this. You can watch the full tutorial here.

These are the new finds that I purchased for making crafts this year, but they had soooo much more. I think the black and white striped pumpkins are my ultimate favorite. Make sure you watch my FB page for this year's fall projects. Of course, you can view all my fall projects on my YouTube page in my Fall Arts & Crafts Playlist.

Time to get busy making ALL THE THINGS! I can't wait to show you what I have dreamed up for this year's fall decor. You can always drop me a message or email to share your projects with me. I love seeing them! Join my Creative Artistic Connected Community and post them there as well. Until next time;
