Holiday Traditions: Squash Bread

Today I had fun getting out of the art studio and making a delicious family recipe: Squash Bread!

You might be thinking, squash? Ewwww! I guarantee that this bread will win over even the most committed squash hater. Growing up, butternut squash was my favorite vegetable. Yeah, I was a strange kid! My dad had 3 gardens, and so my mom would make dozens of loaves of squash bread to give away as gifts to family and friends. I shared this recipe, along with how to roast squash and pumpkin LIVE on my Facebook page as part of the Craft Round the Clock Christmas in the Kitchen Week.
