Hello Fall Sign

Updated: Nov 15, 2021

Watch how I turned a Target dollar section find into this fabulous fall sign.

DIY wood cut kits are popular and it seems like all the retail giants are picking up on this. This project was inexpensive and also charming! Who doesn't love little pumpkins? I did a tutorial on how to do a paint stain for a rustic sign look, as well as how to paint the three little pumpkins.

Are you ready to a Target run and get this DIY Hello Fall set? Here are the supplies I used:

Supply List

  • Buildable Wood Wall Art Sitter-Hello Fall from Target (Dollar Section)

  • Metallic Craft Paint- I used FolkArt Turquoise Shimmer and DecoArt Copper & Festive Green, but any brand is suitable so long as you like the colors

  • Acrylic Paint Colors (any brand)- Turquoise, Ocean Green, Orange, Yellow Orange, Olive Green, Dark Green, White, Umber Brown

  • Medium Flat Paintbrush

  • Small Flat Paintbrush

  • Paper Towel

  • Cup of Water

  • Paper plate or palette

  • Your favorite fall ribbons (I got mine in the Fall section at Hobby Lobby)

  • Spanish Moss (Dollar Tree or any Craft Store)

  • Tacky Glue to attach the bow

Did you make yours like mine or did you add your own creative twist? Join my Facebook Group and share photo of it!
