Home School Create & Connect at
The Painted Toad Art Studio
The Home School Create & Connect program provides home schooled youth (and caregivers) an opportunity to connect with other homeschoolers while creating art. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art mediums, create unique projects, and continue to develop their own artistic style. Different projects are offered each session, but art mediums may be used in multiple times for different art explorations. Recommended age is 7-11. Fall & Winter Semesters are 12 weeks long and Spring semester is 6 weeks long.

What Kind of Projects will be Offered?
Weekly projects might include painting, drawing, sculpture, fiber arts, mixed media, STEAM projects, or exploring new art making techniques. Using imagination and creativity are encouraged. Every young artist is finding their own style. "There are no mistakes, only happy accidents."

Master Teacher, Artist, & Studio Owner
My name is Rose Gottler and I'm so excited to share my love of art making with your children. I have a Master's in the Art of Teaching and a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. Before starting my own business, I worked as a school teacher for 15 years, the majority of which as a K-8 Art teacher. I'm the mother of four VERY creative daughters, one of which works at the studio with me. I'm passionate about teaching young artists how to discover their inner artist and develop a strong sense of artistic confidence and creativity.
